Only a week after the summit between the leaders of the US and North Korea was cancelled, US President Donald Trump has announced that the meeting is back on.
President Trump cancelled the summit last Thursday due to ‘tremendous anger and open hostility’ displayed in a North Korea statement.
The summit is set to take place on 12 June in Singapore, as was originally planned.
After talks today with senior North Korean envoy Gen Kim Yong-chol, President Trump claimed that Kim Jong-un ‘wanted to do denuclearisation’.
