It has been announced that US President Donald Trump will be visiting the UK on 13 July.
This follows the news earlier this week that President Trump would be visiting later this year.
Responding to the announcement, Sir Kim Darroch, Britain’s ambassador to the US, said that he was ‘delighted’.
A Downing Street source has said that Prime Minister Theresa May will hold bilateral talks with President Trump and that ‘further details will be set out in due course.’
This shall be his first visit to the UK since he was elected in November 2016. Prime Minister Theresa May invited President Trump the week after his inauguration in January 2017, but no date was set at this point.
