After initially being confiscated from his mother at customs, a severely epileptic boy has had his cannabis oil medication returned.
UK Home Secretary Sajid Javid it was returned after it became clear it was necessary for medical emergencies.
Expressing her delight at the decision, Billy Caldwell’s mother has called for widespread availability of the medication. Many European countries already allow medical usage of cannabis. Billy is not permitted to take the medication home and must have it administered in hospital.
